Autohaus Ecker was founded in March 1966 by Emil Ecker and his wife Ingrid. In the early years it was a gas station and repair workshop. In 1968 Family Ecker took over a Honda dealership and in 1973 also became representatives for Peugeot. From 1978 onwards the company specialised in the sales and service of Honda vehicles and in the Spring of 1987 the Autohaus Ecker GmbH was founded.

In July 2002 the company opened a second location in Pirmasens. Today Autohaus Ecker has 10 full-time employees with the salesrooms and workshops covering 8,000 square meters at their location in Hauptstuhl within easy reach of Kaiserslautern and Ramstein. Autohaus Ecker has been serving the Military community in the Kaiserslautern and Ramstein area for over 40 years.
