Beautiful, quirky and practical items can be found at over 290 stands. From harvest cloths to wipeable tablecloths, the market has thousands of very special things and curiosities to offer. Cookie Ronny, market criers and fishmongers are not the only ones offering real bargains.
The fun park set up in two areas on Friedensplatz and at the Karlstraße bus station ensures that even the little ones won’t get bored. At Friedensplatz there is a petting zoo, pony rides and an agricultural information stand from Krainbachhof Massenbach for the kids on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm.
There will also be a popular exhibition of equipment from regional companies on Friedensplatz alongside the market. Everyone will also get their money’s worth in terms of food and drink. In addition to the horse market classics such as sausage, Maultaschen and chestnuts, this year there will be new food stalls with Greek specialties, Portuguese delicacies, pinsa delicacies, original Italian stone-baked pizza from the APE oven and chicken specialties. In addition, the team led by Marcel Küffner from Voltino will be providing catering in the Wilhelm-Maybach-Saal of the Harmonie on all days.
Horse awards and riding show at the Trappensee Riding Club
At the riding facilities of the Heilbronn Riding Club at the Trappensee, the registered horses will be judged by a jury. On Saturday, February 24, riding horses and working horses will be assessed. On Sunday, February 25, it will be the turn of breeding horses from 9 a.m. and from 3 p.m. the Heilbronn Riding Club will present its popular riding show. The awards ceremony for the winners in the four categories will take place for the first time directly afterwards at 1 pm in the riding hall.
After Horse Market Party
The After Horse Market Party will take place on Saturday, February 24 from 6 to 11 p.m. in the foyer of the Wilhelm Maybach Hall in the Harmonie.
