Lautrer Advent – Christmas magic in the heart of the city

November 17 to December 23, Kaiserslautern’s city center will once again be aglow with festive lights: the Lautrer Christmas market transforms the city into an atmospheric Christmas village that enchants young and old alike. Amidst sparkling lights, the scent of almonds, and festive music, visitors can experience the magic of Advent up close.

Around the Stiftskirche and on Schillerplatz, the Christmas market becomes a familiar meeting place for families, friends, and anyone who appreciates tradition and a festive atmosphere. The Fruchthalle invites visitors to browse through handcrafted gift ideas, while the courtyard of the Stiftskirche offers a cozy retreat by the crackling fire. The Lautern Christmas market is thus a place where tradition, a sense of home, and pre-Christmas joy come together.
