The Department of Gynaecology offers treatment for breast cancer and pelvic cancer, prolapse and incontinence surgery, keyhole surgery, and various outpatient breast and pelvic procedures.

Obstetrics

The Department of Obstetrics cares for pregnant women and supports about 800 deliveries each year.

Our Department of Obstetrics focusses on innovative and holistic care for mother and baby.

In addition to the vast medical experience of the team and the use of the most modern high-tech equipment the gynaecological and obstetric departments of the Nardini Klinikum St. Johannis have a large outpatient clinic, delivery rooms and maternity wards, gynaecological station and day-care. The clinic is a recognized location of the breast center Westpfalz area.

The clinic places maximum importance on integrated care in close cooperation with the practicing physicians and mid-wives of the region. This cooperation can begin before the stationary hospital treatment and can be continued through the postnatal care.

The holistic treatment is supplemented by the close cooperation with the departments for diagnostic radiology, anesthesia and pain therapy, surgery, internal medicine and oncology and palliative care as well as orthopaedics and the department for plastic surgery.

Equally important is the the involvement of the catholic and protestant hospital chaplaincy. The therapeutic team is also supported by a psychologist.
