The Montreux Jazz Festival takes place for two weeks every summer in Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Geneva. Created in 1967 by Claude Nobs and directed by Mathieu Jaton since 2013, the Montreux Jazz Festival has become over the years an essential event, generating fantastic stories and legendary performances.
In its 58 years, the Montreux Jazz Festival has confirmed its commitment to dialogue between musical forms. The lineup for the 58th edition of the Festival has been intricately crafted to provide 16 intense days of musical gatherings.
On the programme, from July 5th to July 20th, 2024: iconic groups, grand debuts, eagerly awaited comebacks, and future legends, spanning all genres.
For 16 summer days and nights the Swiss town of Montreux will be alive with the sounds of music, and will present on multiple stages and venues an amazing acoustic patchwork of performances from some of the finest musicians in the world today.

Founded in 1967 by Claude Nobs has become a grand event for all music lovers. There’s music, dance, movies and lots of excitement and enthusiasm in the festival. The music shows have songs of all genres- reggae to rap. Great musicians like Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Count Basie, Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Prince have entertained the guests with their energetic and stunning jazz performances. Famous band artists and internationally recognised stars specially descend on the mountain town of Montreux to witness the annual Jazz Festival every year.
