The ceramics market invites to the city center of Homburg

Two weeks before Easter, artisans from all over Germany, France and Benelux will be presenting their entire range of ceramic works in Homburg’s city center on March 21 & 22 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The two organizers – Saarpfalz-Touristik and the district and university city of Homburg – hope that the spring sun will send out its first warming rays so that many visitors from the entire region can enjoy the southern flair at the Homburg Ceramic Market.

Something for every taste 

The artisans will once again be presenting the entire spectrum of ceramics at the market: from useful, contemporary functional ceramics and garden objects to exquisite and unusual ceramic art. The range of art objects on offer is diverse: jewellery made from various clay materials, ceramic objects, raku and art sculptures, mosaic garden tables and much more. The European Cultural Park Bliesbruck-Reinheim will present various archaeological finds and offer pottery workshops for children.

Each vendor has their own unique style, giving visitors to Homburg an overview of the entire repertoire of contemporary ceramic art.

There is something for every taste and budget here – whether big or small, everyone will find the perfect ceramic piece!

Gastronomes spoil visitors

Hospitality will be provided by the numerous catering establishments and cafés, whose attractive offerings will make a visit to Homburg a memorable experience. The visitors should have the opportunity to inform themselves about the offer at their leisure.

Sunday Shopping open to the public

As last year, a visit to the market can be combined with a shopping spree in Homburg’s stores, as the retailers in the city center will be holding an open Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

The parking garage in the city center will also be open again on both days.

General map facilitates orientation

For the Ceramics Market, a small brochure with all vendors including a map will again be published with the kind support of Stadtwerke Homburg. The brochure will be available in numerous stores in downtown Homburg and at the Tourist Information of the city of Homburg.
